   The location of this pub is just beautiful by the river. As with a lot of country pubs by the river the location is wonderful but the food lacks the same characterists. Such a shame as we were meeting long time friends there for lunch and we are all 'foodies'. I ordered a double portion of the scallop starter as a main and the scallops were very overcooked and dry, the cauliflower was so greasy, crisp and dark brown. My partner had a special of chicken and chips. Again the chicken was almost black, very overcooked and tough. The beef sandwich , again the beef was overcooked and tough. The burger and chips were probably the best, she enjoyed this. The service was nice and friendly.

   Great pub in a beautiful setting. Staff were all great, so friendly, attentive and kind. The food was superb. Highlights were the scallops and the best cheese pull on the kids mac & cheese. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

   A beautiful gastropub overlooking the River Windrush. Warm welcoming staff and delicious exquisitely prepared food. Thank you so much for making my BirthDay celebration so enjoyable and lovely. Thank you everyone at the Fox in Barrington.

   Fabulous lunch, unfortunately the weather was not good enough to enjoy an outdoor table by the river, but we had a table at a window. Food was great.

   A really beautiful country pub with a Beautiful restaurant overlooking the local river. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very professional, approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend booking a table for Sunday Lunch and will absolutely be booking a table again in the near future.

   We are a group of six elderly walkers who visit a different cotswold pub every week. We were very late for our table booking but it was not a problem for the staff who accommodated us without any fuss. We all had a different menu choice yet all agreed the food was excellent and with generous portions. All the beer drinkers were satisfied including the two Guinness drinkers. Great value for money.
