Food was absolutely delicious. Staff were exemplary and professional . Very knowledgeable and attentive. This was not our first visit and we will definitely return

Such a wonderful experience - would highly recommend. A cosy, quirky space with exceptional hosts - Matthew, Lewis & Michaela were just amazing. The attention to detail throughout from the dinner set up, to the drinks and the food was next to none. Unfortunately we never got to meet the chef but the food was phenomenal and looked too good to eat (I fear I’ll never experience anything quite like it again!).

The food, service and experience was first class! Not the staffs' fault that there was a rather noisy gentleman at the next table, but this didn't spoil the experience.

Good but not good enough. I'm told that they're aiming for a 1 Michelin Star. Some way to go. The présentation of the plates was very good, the entrées were very good, but the mains and desserts were not better than OK. And specifically and additional £15 for the beef fillet was outrageous for a bit of beef that was tender but tasteless. So, good enough but not good enough value for money.

Good central venue, service attentive, food was an explosion on the taste buds. 4 friends dined on a Thurs at 8, it was quiet so lacked ambience, decent value considering the variety of courses we ate. Will be back nxt year

Excellent lunch, good ingredients beautifully presented, interesting ideas. Really delicious. Wine list was also good and the wines we selected were also delicious and matched well with the meal. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We were celebrating an anniversary so were happy to make it an occasion.

Second time we have been in a month. Both visits for celebrations. I think for our Australian friends / tourists with us, needed to read more about Burns and the history of the building as they prepared to enjoy the feast. But loved each course served and especially the mocktails. Service professional but friendly.

We visited with guests from the US, one of whom was celebrating during a birthday tour. They both loved the food, the presentation, the service and the authenticity of the Burns experience. We presented her with a small edition of Burns poetry and we made memories not to be forgotten.
