The ambiance was nice. A good place to have drinks and appetizers. Modern and clean aesthetic. We visited in Father’s Day (with reservation) and it did not seem to be busy on the dining floor. Yet our interaction with our server and staff was overall friendly but minimal. They seemed rush somehow. Drink menu had a good variety options. The old fashioned and ube drinks we ordered were good and had good presentations. We ordered 2 appetizers and unfortunate never received them. The temperature of our steaks were not as ordered. What was to be medium came out rare and medium rare came as medium. And, it was not easy to flag anyone down, to ask so we didn’t bother ask that our steaks be cooked further. My wagyu was small and was comparable to the quality of a filet mignon. Far from the cost and quality of a wagyu steak. I was disappointed. I would say my family and I would consider coming back for drinks and to try appetizers. Overall rating for us would be 7/10 for overall experience. Not sure if we would come back for a full meal.

Our first time in the new "Finch" since the demise of the former fish restaurant, uncertain what to expect, we took a chance, and were glad that we did. Abner, our energetic, competent, friendly and attentive server, guided us to a booth a good distance from the bar, which was expectantly noisy, as bars are supposed to be. We ordered, he helped with a suggestion or two, and the sat back in the booth, relaxed, and had our wine. Because it was Happy Hour, Abner suggested the house wine, and we found it pretty good, and only $8 a glass. So good, in fact, that we continued down that road through dinner. The food came fast--although it was early in the evening, and the "Finch" was not yet crowded--and when it did, we found it really tasty, the portions generous. Didn't have to wait for the check, which in some restaurants becomes a real challenge, and we left, well-fed and happy. Parking is in the structure, the house gives you a code to exit, and the entry is directly from the parking structure. On the way to the "Finch" you pass an Italian ("Monaco" and one other cafe, all new, and all looking interesting. We shall return.

Very disappointed in our first and last visit to this establishment. We had a reservation for Mother’s Day and they ran 40 minutes behind schedule. The table they set us at was dirty. They served our food to us with no utensils. And the portions were very small for the cost. We ordered dessert and all the ice cream on top was melted. Manager was arrogant for someone who allowed his reservations to wait 40 minutes past their reservation time. Will not be going back.

Ryan was our server and he was fantastic!!! I will definitely be coming back with my friends and family!! The food was outstanding, I got the Maple Glazed Double Pork Chop and it melted in my mouth!! The atmosphere was great and everyone was so friendly!!

They did a great job on one of the toughest restaurant days - Mothers Day brunch. We were seated right on time for reservation and both the service and food were excellent. Everyone was attentive and with a ton of great choices on the menu it was a great meal for everyone.

This was our fifth time at The Goldfinch and it's always wonderful. Mother's Day brunch for my wife and mother-in-law was perfect. Will be back soon.
