   Lovely weekend lunch. Large pub with lots of spaces and different restaurant areas. Good choice of food and everything was very tasty.

   Service was extremely slow. After 35 minutes we got two small drinks. We had to ask for water 4 times. It took over and hour. The tea and coffees arrived but we had to ask where was the dessert. It had obviously been under a hot lamp as there was a thick skin on the custard. The vegetarian roast was excellent. Like the Sea Horse these pubs always feel like two staff called in sick.

   We enjoyed the sunshine in the gorgeous garden which is super spacious with a variety of different seating areas/seats. We ate from the main a la carte menu but were impressed by the fixed price menu with lots of tasty things on offer if you are going for two or more courses. Staff very friendly and welcoming and service was great. We will be returning, perhaps to enjoy the inside as the interior looked lovely for during the colder months.

   The hottest day ever!! The linguine was amazing, have been obsessing about it since. Excellent service, very friendly.

   My husband and I go to the inn on the lake quite a lot as we are local. We always have a good time there but the service can be slow and there aren’t great options for vegetarian main courses. Husband loves the fillet steak though and the desserts are nice.

   Disappointed by the high noise level of the restauarant even though I had specifically asked for a a quiet private area in my reservation

   Fantastic food and service from majority of staff especially the blonde gentleman who serviced our group for dinner.

   A bit of a fave meeting place being half way between London and my old home town. Always easy to park, able to book a table and the food and drink offering is interesting and the service good. Staff are always helpful and polite, without being intrusive, and don't seem to hurry you out of the seats, which is lovely if you've driven a long way and want to linger longer.
