The Melting Pot - El Paso
Good food and we were satisfied with amount of food we received. Definitely not an everyday place due to price and time. Rec reservation on weekend. Our service was good and attentive.
We have been to several different Melting Pot locations. We are not fans of the new open concept. At all. Our servers we cold and uncaring. In the past they would melt the cheese in front of you. We got a pot of already melted cheese that was just hastily set down and little pieces of vegetables and some bread. When we got the chocolate it was delivered by a different server who had the same attitude. Very robotic. "Here is your chocolate. Here is the alcohol to make it burn. I'm going to light it. Now I'm going to stir it. There you go. Bye." Over $50 for two drinks, cheese, chocolate and bad service. Overall it was a bad experience and we won't be back to the El Paso location.
Great place great food great staff can’t say anything bad about this place because there is nothing it’s all wonderful and tasty
I took my family here for a year end celebratory meal, and we had an amazing time! The food was great, Sasha our waitress was excellent, and we plan on returning.
Lucky to get a booth, because the main portion of the restaurant was pretty crowded and loud. Staff noted that we indicated it was date night on OpenTable and gave us a nice complimentary dessert. Food was great, as you would expect from any Melting Pot.
The staff was great, very friendly which made our evening more unforgettable. Make sure you go hungry if you decide to do the 4 course meal. We were full after our main course and only did one pot of dessert and received vouchers for the other pot of dessert.
Went for the first time and it was great. Friends and I tried the Four-Course meal and it was very delicious. The only down fall was the amount of time it took to get our courses. Our reservation was at 6:30p.m and we finished eating at around 10p.m. Way too much time was spent waiting on the courses.
The place is great and the service was excellent, the price for what you get it’s a little price and the Salmon my wife order was tasteless
Great fondue menu plus other items for those who don’t like fondue. Great conversational eating and fun!
Had an amazing date night experience! Great service and great food.
Too bright and too noisy and way too many children. For these types of prices, I would have expected a classier atmosphere. I do not mind paying for the experience but I wanted a bit more adult ambiance, privacy and less cafeteria lighting. Also the prices were fairly high for the very small amount of food, it felt more like sampling than an actual dinner. The eating part was a fun experience though.
Although pricey for a four course meal, you get what you pay for. Excellent food and service with an easy to read menu.
Our experience was awful I can’t remember the last time I felt the need to write a bad a review .. we went to the one at the fauntains in El Paso Tx and the service the food and management were just horrible .. we ended up leaving without eating our entree and charged for every single thing that the manager was able to charge us for... if she could’ve charged us for straws and napkins she would’ve done it!!! Never again!!!
What a wonderful experience and awesome meal! We did our research before hand, had as basic understanding of the menu, and had the perfect meal guided by the server. She offered additional options but did not push. Perfect!
The Melting Pot was a culinary adventure! Our group had so much cooking our own entrees and the chocolate fondues are to die for!
Did not enjoy the atmosphere and the noise level was high. For an expensive meal I do expect atmosphere. Maybe I did not choose the right things but the entree was not that great. However I did enjoy the cheese and chocolate fondu. If I ever return I will skip the main dish.
Much improved from my experience 15 years ago. Food variety and quality outstanding service was on point not too much not to infrequent enjoyed the new open concept setting thanks for coming to El Paso. We need more big chains. Cheesecake factory next?
It was a wonderful experience to offer as a gift for our son for Christmas. We will definitely return!
Wasn’t impressed. I’ve been to other melting pot locations that set a more romantic ambiance. This location is an open area and doesn’t set itself apart from every other restaurant in the city. Down to the way the food is presented. Probably won’t go back just because it’s better elsewhere.
It is one of the great places to go for lunch or dinner. It is not a place to get into a hurry to have a meal. You just want to set back and enjoy your meal and have a great talk with your friends that are with you. Great friendly people that work there from the owner on down. Great chocolate cover strawberries for a great ending of a great meal!!
We celebrated my daughter's birthday at Melting Pot with several friends. The kids meals were just as exciting and entertaining as the adult presentations. Our servers were engaging and made it a really fun evening for everyone in our party.
the waiting time between course was longer than usual,
The food was delicious. The service definitely needs work; I expect better waitstaff for the price. Also, the new open restaurant set up was disappointing. From now on I will save my Melting Pot experience for the locations that have the private dining experience.
Went to dine for the first time for a 4 year anniversary dinner. Asked hostess for flower arrangement options and was not given any information. Overall less than stellar experience for an anniversary dinner.
Great appetizers and desserts! Great atmosphere and very good service.
Loved the food, the whole experience was great, went with my husband as a date, everything was delicious, excellent service, without a doubt I’ll go again!!!
Poor service took 2 hours to get a meal. Poor coordination lack of service overall. Food poor taste. Noise level way too high with blaring music making people talk over it. Waitress had to yell over the noise. I would not recommend this place at all.
Great place to have brunch with a different experience, Loved it
Server wasn't the greatest. Kept having to find him for drinks or little things. On the bright side food was great.
Not the Meeting Pot we expected for a date night. Per the owner they have moved to a more open and family environment.
The Melting Pot is a perfect place for a quiet nice meal between two!! I had the Salmon Ginger Teriyaki plate with Rosemary fries and it couldn’t have been better!!
Overall the food was great but it is a bit pricey. The ambiance is good and customer service was good.
First time trying this place out, wasn't sure how to order or how anything worked. My server did a horrible job explaining the menu instead his main focus was to upsell me on everything. He was not helpful at all just made the experience bad, food was great went out on a limb and just picked anything since the menu explanation was horrible by the server.
I NEVER GIVE BAD REVIEW, BUT THIS WAS BAD .. 10 MIN JUST FOR WATER NOT GOOD..WAITRESS
ONLY SPOKE TO MY WIFE..EVERTHING TO TOOK LONG FOR COME OUT..WE LEFT STILL HUNGRY..
Prices too high for quantity. Tucson location gave more.
We were seated within 5 mins of arriving for our reservation. Our waiter was great, explained the process. My son wasn't crazy about the drink he ordered and he replaced it. The owner came around asking if we needed anything and introduced himself. My kids are 12 and 9 and they really enjoyed the experience. We order 2 4-course meals, which the waiter said that would be good for 1 to 2 adults. We figured it would be enough for the 4 of us, maybe if we ordered a side dishes. We were satisfied in the moment but we were hungry shortly after leaving. Overall, we went for my birthday and it was great. Its not for anyone who is on a time crunch, it took us close to 2 hours from start to finish.
This was our second time being at the El Paso location, once again it was great. Our server was great. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was constantly updating us and or checking on us throughout the evening. The reservation process online is super easy too. It was a great date night for my hubby and I.
Great restaurant with a nice ambience, very good service and the food is delicious. Nice for a romantic date or to celebrate any occasion.
The food was amazing, the people who work here are very nice (a little OVER attentive in the beginning). The woman who first checked us in forgot we had a reservation and thought we were on her waitlist and got confused and apologized profusely. Fortunately, we were there 15 minutes early, and we got seated right at our reservation time. However, everyone who was waiting had about a 30-45 minute wait. The whole process just took much longer than we expected. We were in the restaurant for a total of 2.5 hours for their 4-course meal. Definitely too much time between ordering, getting the courses, and then finally the check. I’ve been to restaurants with a 6-7 course meal that took about a half an hour longer—more food in less time. They offered a 5% military discount here though without us even asking about one, so that was nice.
Felt rushed but good food and drinks. Server pushed us through too quickly and then was slow to get us our drinks.
