Welcome to the Rear Window Restaurant! A classic neighbourhood restaurant and bar - Inspired by the West End and rooted in the East End. We have been told we are a hidden gem....So now you have found us.....
If it is a cocktail you are looking for, you need look no further than Alfreds Bar, from our signature Leading Lady, Vertigo and Marnie to a classic Old fashioned, Negroni, Espresso martini, whatever your flavour we have you covered. I went on Father’s Day with my husband and daughter. The food was delicious! The service was a little slow but I put that down to it being rather busy. I would definitely come back for an occasion, but if you are going for just a casual roast, it’s on the expensive side.

We visited Rear Window for Father’s Day, and had a wonderful time! We wondered if it would be really busy and impact service levels - it was really busy but the staff were on the ball with everything. The food is beautiful and elegantly presented, and of course the building and restaurant itself is so kitsch and creates a really interesting and alternative vibe. Yes prices are more like central London, but you are getting the service and quality of food to mirror that, so in my opinion would expect it.

Great food. Unfortunately only a few tables booked for a Friday night - shame to see an empty restaurant.

I'd booked into the bright and airy Rear Window restaurant which had fine napery and required smart casual dress but we were shown to the dingy front bar of the pub. Not what we were expecting and indeed the bill was commensurate with a proper restaurant. Disappointing. Will not be returning.

Try Rear Window for great priced quality cocktails and tasty food. The spicy chicken wing starter was sublime. Wine a bit pricey but reasonable choice and by the glass. The waiting staff and front of house are warm, friendly and attentive.
