The Red Lion at Milton Bryan is a stunning country pub in the Heart of the gorgeous Bedfordshire
countryside.
In February The Red Lion was given a new lease of life with new owners and the emphasis moved
toward providing great food and service in relaxed surroundings. From the Bar you can expect
comfy chairs and roaring fires, ideal for sitting back with the paper and relaxing or
catching up with friends over a bottle of one of our fabulous wines.

Outside is a large garden with plenty of seating for the long summer we have on our way
(well we hope at least!).Our bar is attacked with some gorgeous ciders and the very best
traditional ales to enjoy on our picnic tables with something from our bar menu. Perfect
for a summers weekend!

The Red Lion is not 'Permanently Closed' - in fact very much open for business with great food and welcoming staff.

We came for dinner for my other half's birthday and it was great! When we came through the door it was familiar and welcoming, we sat with drinks and menus without being rushed. Our order was a little picky and there were no issues with the food at all, thank you! The food was delicious, the only thing i would say is the duck special i had could have done with being served with a steak knife (and that is really picky). Tuesday's were being advertised as half price mains, i'm not sure this was the case with us but we had had such a great evening that i didn't feel it necessary to bring up. Thanks again, we will be back.

we tried this restaurant thanks to Open table and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is a little short but they coped with my better half's gluten free requirements well and the food was good. Strangely I was impressed that the tap water was kept in nice bottles and those bottles were kept in a fridge so it was lovely and cold and refreshing. Nice touch

A charming atmosphere and a warm welcome invite customers to enjoy good quality dining selections and excellent customer service. Always a treat!

Very good service. Made to feel welcome from the outset. Food was well presented and appetising. Good selection on menu. Staff were attentive but didn't make you feel rushed. Would definitely recommend.

very impressed with the dining area, one of the best meals iv'e had. the service was first class, i would recommend the red lion to anyone wanting to have a lovely evening out.

Superb Food and Wine in a relaxed atmosphere, doesn't come any better than this, looking forward to our Sunday lunch this week.

Two fish dishes were very poor due to overcooking - making one in particular inedible. If it were not for the fact that it was a special occasion and I wanted the atmosphere to be happy and pleasant I would have complained most strongly and would have sent the meals back to the kitchen. Fried fish and chips is not a difficult meal for a decent chef to produce to a satisfactory standard.
