   Food was phenomenal!! Tried the poutine, ceviche, streak, and salmon dishes. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Did a two course meal with a small dessert and all portions were generous without being too much. Gluten - free options were provided to my dinner date with Celiac and waitress was knowledge of the issue and helpful with menu choices. Will definitely return next time I'm in Toronto.

   It is definitely overpriced for a diner. The air conditioning really didn't work and the backyard patio is dumpy. The waitress had to be asked several times to bring small requests like a finger bowl and napkins for the ribs. Sadly, This restaurant is not up to Summerlicious standards.

   Duck Poutine was too heavy an appetizer for a price fix. We couldn't enjoy the rest of our meal, we were already full! But it was excellent! And it was what we came there to try! All the food was very good!

   Food was delicious although I was told that they could make my wagyu beef burger rare as they grind their own meat. The burger was medium as I had been misinformed and they do not grind their wagyu beef. Had I been given the correct information, I would have ordered something else. While the burger was good, I would prob have preferred the rib. The duck pâté was incredible and pot de crème chocolat was outstanding. My husband loved the rub in his steak however I found it to be too spicy. Overall please with meal. Def recommend this restaurant.

   We went for Summerlicious 2016 and were impressed with the selection. It's nice to have a choice of 5 apps and 6 mains! The Petite Duck Poutine, Pan Roasted Rainbow Trout (that avocado crema is divine) and Grilled Flat Iron Steak were definite highlights. The window seat was lovely. Nice cocktails.

   What I appreciate most about the Rosedale Diner is the service. We travelled from East Lansing, Michigan and again we were not disappointed. The place is hip, the food is good and the atmosphere is outstanding. If for some reason Trump is elected which I doubt we might regulars.

    Great diner! Brunch was tasty - there was 3 of us and we had their top 3: chicken and waffles, the fat cap, and huevos picante. Solid. Definitely will come back!
