   Outstanding - 3 perfect meals, including the best mixed grill I've ever had. And I've had a lot.

   Would rate it as ok, had to wait 40 minutes for dessert,they discounted dessert for the wait, only had 2 beers on draft, food was ok overall not bad, cemuld do better

   We had friends staying with us from America and after a very busy day out wanted to take them for a meal. We chose the Tame Otter as we had been before and enjoyed that visit. Our friends liked the building and thought the food/service was very good.

   We stopped here before we went to the snowdome as it was only a short drive. Food was lovely, child friendly pub with a good selection of food options for kids. Reasonable price. Would recommend and will go again when in the area.

   The Tame Otter is a very pleasant licensed premises with a cosy atmosphere, but we did not find the food very tasty or of good value. The staff however were very pleasant. We were also kept waiting quite a long time between courses, especially the wait for Baileys coffees after the meal they were cold when arriving at the table. I would rate the experience 5 out of 10 overall!

   Very pleasant location on the canalside, good for pre or post meal walking. We enjoyed a tasty and well presented Sunday roast. The beef was excellent. Prompt and friendly service. We shall return....

    We l8ke going to the tame otter as it is local but this visit the fish was not very nice. What was funny was the wsitress said she would take it off the menu and they were still serving it when we left only consolation was they took it off the bill
