Welcome to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery where we’re combining over 260 years of Irish brewing experience with American beer creativity. Our site features an experimental brewery, taproom, brand store, food truck and beer garden along with guided tours.

Come, let us pour you a pint, serve you some food and tell you, our stories. All ordering within the taproom is completed through QR codes, with our team on hand to assist in creating a great experience for you.

The property is great. Tour and gift shop are a worthwhile experience. About a year ago, when I first visited the property, the food was phenomenal. We shared appetizers including the pretzel and the charcuterie board. In returning to the taproom a year later, the food quality and value has plummeted. The charcuterie board was significantly smaller, but more expensive. It used to come with a full sized pretzel, but now came with 6 small flavorless pretzel crisps. The soft pretzel itself tasted stale and was hard. On the plus side, the beer selection was good and the sliders were good. Very disappointed in the food quality as I have raved to friends about the food over the past year. I will not be doing that anymore.

Great food and timely service. Be sure to make a reservation for inside! High chairs are available for kids.

We totally enjoyed the tap room. We had been there before and liked it, which is why we came back. We were seated right on time, the service was exceptional and the food is very good. Guinness beer was exactly as expected, but what surprised us is how good the beermosas were. I wouldn’t come here on St Patrick’s Day or Father’s Day because I’m sure it’s packed, but this is a regional gem.

We had a good time & the service was great, but the food was way overpriced for the quality. I could tell most of it was premade then reheated. Bread & pretzel were soooo dry. Mashed potatoes were hard & clumpy. Asparagus was over cooked & leathery. Really wasn’t impressed.

The Guinness was amazing! Food was good, especially the old bay and hot wings. The charcuterie board was pricey for what you get. Scotch eggs were absolutely delicious. Overall the food is kind of pricey for bar food. Staff were very nice and helpful with questions. Atmosphere was A+.

What fun to try different Guinness brands and the bar food was delicious. We got the meat plate, vegetable plate, pretzel, and dessert. The atmosphere is straight bar - fun, but not fancy. You place your own orders via your phone and you can also go to the bar for samples. Did I mention there is a gift store!?!?!

After booking your Tasting Tour with Guinness Open Gate, be sure to book a dinner reservation at the Taproom. The menu is extensive and really delicious. Shoutout to our server Ryan who provided us with great service. Highly recommend the Bangers and Mash, the Heritage Burger and the Cubano Sandwich. The fries were amazing!!! Note that the restaurant is VERY loud when they have their Trivia Night so mention in your OpenTable reservation that you would prefer a quieter seating, especially in the atrium.

Pretzel was dried out today. Other than the wings, the food was not hot today. This is different than when I’ve come before. Server was very friendly and responsive.

The place was great! They definitely need to do something about those with children. They were running everywhere and we actually saw a lady get hit by a ball and knocking her drink out of her hand. Definitely need to reinforce some rules for people who decide to bring their children to a brewery. Very disruptive and not fun for me and my Husband on a date night out without the kids.
