   We went with our two young kids for Sunday lunch on mothers day. Very busy but staff were attentive and cleared tables frequently, as buffet. God, fresh varied food, Indian, sea bass, salads, soup, choice of two meats for Sunday carvery beef was melt in the mouth! We will definately go again.

   The lunch and dinner menu is similar and all food is indian flavoured. Good value curry on the lunch menu. Service is very good.

   4 of us went for a birthday meal at the Tree where we had been twice before. Mid week, the restaurant was quiet but the decor and lighting made for a nice informal atmosphere. Food is a combination of Indian and English-we had a selection of each and it was all good. The food on the menu is cooked to order and they will do the curries at any strength you want. Not a huge wine menu but some interesting selections. Bill for 4 came to about £145.00 (3 courses). Would definitely recommend this.

   Good ambience. Service a little disorganised. Toptable booking did not work and we had to reschedule. Food excellent and reasonable value

   Had a lovely meal with a friend at the Tree at Cadmore. I had the fried spiced fish to start, which was a very generous portion for a starter and absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection - whilst my friend had the equally delicious sesame prawns. For mains we both had steaks - again, a generous plate of food well prepared. We were sat out of sight in the corner but weren't forgotten about at all and both the manager and the waitress were very friendly and attentive. It's the best place I've found to eat in High Wycombe. The pub itself is lovely - perfect for a drink or for eating. I can't wait to try their Sunday lunch!

   Perhaps it was just an off day. None of us had been before and the reviews were so good, but my meal was awful. We were the only people in for lunch on a week day which was a bit surprising and didn't help with the atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant but my vegetarian curry turned up with chicken in it. Fortunately the waitress spotted the mistake and took it away. I was expecting a long wait but the meal arrived quite quickly. As it turned out that was because it consisted of almost raw vegetables coated in general purpose curry sauce. Not nice and to make matters worse the nan bread was charred underneath. My friends who are local are unlikely to swop their allegiance from the Mowchak just up the road.

   The Tree is now officially my favourite pub. The food, service, and ambiance are head and shoulders above other pubs in the area. I highly recommend this venue.

   We had Sunday buffet at £12.95. Mix of Thai, Indian and traditional roast! Great tasting food, and if you're up for something different and really tasty, this is certainly worth a go. Staff all v friendly, and homely pub.

   The Tree at Cadmore is a tastefully refurbished pub restaurant with accommodation. The most unusual aspect is the menu which includes both traditional British dishes like sausages or fish and chips; and south and east Asian curries. The food is prepared to a high standard, excellently cooked and presented in adequate portions. Service was very attentive. If you are returning to London down the M40 and fancy a meal then left at J5 Stokenchurch, take the A40 towards London then branch right in Stokenchurch onto the B482 and The Tree will appear on the left within a couple of miles. The experience is well worth the journey.

    Besides excellent, friendly service, Top Table has the best food in the area. It is outstanding!
