   A fantastic meal as always and the staff are always very friendly engaging and efficient. Their roast dinners are amazing and I always have the cheesecake which is so light and fluffy! I would absolutely recommend!

   Disappointed with our recent visit to The White Hart. This pub was mine and my husband's favourite place for date nights! Having not been out for a while, we thought let's go for a safe bet as we know the food & service is usually fantastic. The waitress came over to take our drinks order (1 beer, 1 prosecco) and offered us some water on the table. When the prosecco came out it was flat (this happens and I understand, so I drank it but no water came to the table. The point here is that we didnt ask for it, we were offered it and then it never came? We didn't know about the burger night, I had to ask the waiter just before we ordered if there was a particular night on, as nothing was advertised, and we were not told when we arrived but knew from previous times of coming there were themed nights as such. At this stage, the food was ordered, so I ordered another glass of prosecco and just quietly mentioned if it could be out of a new or different bottle as the one I had before was flat. I then waited around 15/20 minutes to get this drink after trying to catch the waiters eye a few times and just felt very ignored. The food came out and was extremely average. We ordered 'beef dripping chips' which looked burnt and tasted really bitter. Although it wasn't an awful experience, and we still had a nice date night, I just feel really disappointed. We used to come to the pub so often, and it just seems such a shame that the service and food wasn't to the same standard. The bill was pleasantly cheap due to the '2 for £25' offer however, if I hadn't of asked about this, I wouldn't have known? I did leave a 5% tip. It's always awkward when the card reader comes over, and you feel you should tip. People have off days ect and I get it. I just really hope this feedback is taken on board, and we can come back and try the experience again, as we have so many lovely memories here.

   Amazing food at fantastic prices. Food was cooked superbly and was absolutely delicious. Yorkshire puddings there are like a food group on their own! Only criticism as they were out of the chocolate and cherry waffles. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were exemplary in every aspect. If you love a Sunday roast, give this place a visit. Worth every penny.

   The pub was a bit quiet. Food was nice, but could have been hotter and kitchen service was slow. The waiting staff were very friendly. Overall a pleasant meal.

   Food was good quality. Bar staff helpful. One of the table staff was very efficient but the other lacked experience and got part of our order wrong, which was only partially rectified. Quite expensive overall. Menu wasn't as extensive as shown online.

   Amazing as always! Lovely surf and turf Virgo. The prawns were love! And the cheesecake…..well divine!!! I actually bought a piece to take home

    Nice table near open fireplace. Warm atmosphere. Good food, good choices. Helpful friendly waitress. Will certainly recommend it. 👌
