   We enjoyed dinner — a table of 5 for dinner and a birthday celebration. None of the hot plates were delivered hot. All were barely warm or cold.

   It is what it is. Tonight’s dinner was wonderful. But, that is not always the case.

   The setting is excellent. Their service was very kind and attentive. The meal itself was very good and would have been excellent if the main course portion had been just a little bit larger. The value was also very good and would have been excellent if the main course portion had been just a little bit larger. All in all, a very pleasant dinner!

   Six of us had a 5:00pm reservation at Three Sisters Dining Room. We arrived ontime and were immediately escorted to our table. Our table was located out of he line of traffic so we were able to carry on conversations with no difficulty. The menus were given to us as soon as we were seated and the waitress returned in a timely manner with bread and butter and took our orders. We ate different entries, I had the fillet with broccoli and it was cooked to perfection. My companions at the table all enjoyed the food they ordered and we had a very pleasant dinner together. At dessert time we ordered individual ice creams to go which we planned to take to our apartments. We were having such a delightful time talking and just enjoying the lovely atmosphere that we ate all our ice cream as we sat and continued to talk. It was a very delightful experience and before we left the table we talked about a future date that we could revisit the Three Sisters Dining Room.

    I don’t remember her name. She may be new because I did not recognize her. Service was extremely slow. Restaurant was almost empty as it was Sunday night and many residents go to the Sunday buffet. I understand staff may be reduced on Sunday evenings. However, we waited a very long time before a waitress came. At the same time, while waiting, there were two waitresses cleaning tables around us. Apparently, wait staff are assigned to certain tables but, as we sat there, it appeared ridiculous. I had guests from out of town so was acutely aware of the service. Wine was not delivered so when dinner arrived, I had to remind her; also had to remind her of oil and vinegar for our bread. Very sweet young woman, just needs more training. As I said above, since I had guests, I was looking at this from their standpoint. My friends are looking at retirement places. I am pretty sure Mary’s Woods will be dropped from their list.
