   An enjoyable return visit to the 3 Swallows for us . Overall a good experience, apart from several items on the menu were not available. I fully understand that at busy periods and times of the year stocks do run low. However when given the menu, we should be made aware of any unavailable items ,not choose something only to be told some time later it's not available. Not difficult to rectify. Otherwise a pleasant visit with good food, drink and atmosphere.

   A wonderful country pub in an idyllic location. The menus was interesting and the food was perfect. The ambiance is really nice with charming staff and the clientele were lovely too. This restaurant deserves great success and is getting everything right. We were there on a damp Bank Holiday Monday and it made our day.

   Disappointing! The menu looked fabulous, which is why we booked. First impression wasn’t great as the walk to our table was through a sea of crisps that had been split onto the floor and not cleaned up. The restaurant seemed busy and at capacity, but the staff numbers in relation to the number of covers seemed in adequate and it took a prohibitively long time for the food to be served. I would note however, that the staff that were working, were doing their best. The food was ok, but tad overpriced based on the portion size and slow service.

   Food excellent but service not great, had to wait well over an hour to get served, staff rather grumpy

   We absolutely love The Three Swallows. Warm welcome, lovely cosy feel and oh my goodness, the food is divine. Be sure to book, it really is a must visit. Top marks to the whole team 👏

   Great food and service. Only minor negative we were sat next to a large table who dominated the poor lad serving us (who was great by the way).

   The food was delicious and lots of menu choice. Sadly they were very short staffed on the night which meant a 20 minute wait to order drinks and over an hour ‘s wait for the food. The two staff that were working were working really hard and were very apologetic but the lack of staff contributed to the long delays. We then had extra drinks added to our bill. There are dining tables next to the bifold doors out to the smoking/outdoor area which is not ideal as customers coming and going the whole time and some not gliding the doors. I would like to think the staffing issues are a one off as the pub was really nice, easy to book and as I said the food was delicious.

   Went for Sunday lunch with 2 meat eaters and myself a vegan. The beef and chicken roast dinners were apparently excellent and they were very accommodating with me as I have a wheat intolerance so adapted the vegan roast for me. All delicious.

    The food was great, very nice menu with a good value supper offer. The outstanding thing was the service. We were served by Tom who was really attentive and seemed to be the only front of house staff whilst also tending the bar alone. He was exceptional and a credit to the three swallows. He was on it all the time but had a very nice manner.
