   Good food, good price and you know what to expect. Nothing too fancy but tasty The staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

   Unfortunately we did not get to eat because on arriving at the carvery there was a sign stating that it was closed for refurbishment. This was quite annoying as it was a family booking for an anniversary. Even though we informed the carvery of this, the website still allowed you to book tables after

   Dirty carpet curtains could do with a thorough clean and dust food was fine not sure if we would come again

   Stale rock hard veg more stalk then flower on cauliflower. Think they forgot the cheese sauce. Every thing tasted of salt .Hardly any meat due to all fat and gravy like water. Waited at least 5 minutes for carver to come out from round back and when he did come out. Did not look like he wanted to be there. No customer service skills at all. Got sat in the corner with a partition running along side our table. Filthy don't know if it was Coke or gravy all down wall ( partition) table dirty and under table was more food than on my plate. I had heard this place had gone down hill and should have listened. Can not believe the difference between this one and Wakefield. Happily drive them extra few mile to Wakefield never again will dodworth valley have my money

   Food was ok for price but service was bad waited ages to be asked if wanted a drink and plates left for ages

   I booked a table on line at 11.15 for 1.30 for 4 people when we arrived there was no booking so we had to wait 40 minutes for a table not impressed, but the food was excellent

   Lovely place .Fab food one of the chefs was miserable smile costs nothing .but I booked a table still had to wait 15 mins .but overall nice place to dine
