We had a delicious meal at Toranj! We booked a reservation to celebrate our son's graduation and arrived about a half hour early. Although the restaurant was busy, the staff was extremely accommodating and found a table for us. They apologized in advance that service might be a little slower than usual due to how busy they were. We didn't find that at all. They were very friendly, served our food quickly and checked on us frequently. The portion size was much larger than we had anticipated and everything we ordered was fabulous. We highly recommend the juicy chicken. The steak and salmon was also very tasty and we enjoyed the hummus and pita they served. We can't thank the staff enough for helping to make our son's graduation celebration very memorable.

My plate was taken away abruptly by one of the staff who seems to be part of management with no explanation. The waitress kindly stepped in and explained he was doing so to make space for the items coming. But, he didn't say a word, just came over, reached over my mother's plate and grabbed mine with food in it. Clearly the tables are too small to accommodate a full table of 4 with multiple dishes, why not get bigger tables if you know your serving dishes are too large for the tables instead of snatching plates from customers and then giving them an attitude about it? The hummus came out early with no bread. I applaud the waitress for diffusing the situation but the person in management offered no apology. Compared to the numerous Persian restaurants in houston, the typical hospitality was lacking.

DISHES SUPERBLY COOKED. A CUT ABOVE THE GOOD PERSIAN RESTAURANTS IN WESTWOOD AND I’VE EATEN IN MOST OF THEM.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Westwood. Our food was very good and the wait staff very friendly; will definitely dine there again.
