   We enjoyed the nachos and cheese plate. Both were excellent! Great patio and scenery.

   I was unable to book a table for 2, or more. I booked for 1 hoping to figure things out when I arrived, or sit at the bar. I received a call the day of my reservation from an asking if I wanted to bring anyone, my reservation was changed. (I was very happy with this service, yet thoroughly confused. I was told all tables are blocked out for busy days. I'm still trying to make sense of this. So, no one can book a table, and in the afternoon when you're trying to call, no one answers. So, when you arrive, guess what? The tables are empty And never filled up. When my friend arrived, she experienced what I experienced the last 3 times I visited. A nice hostess greets you, then tells you they have no available tables. Then she learned about the reservation. In my past experience, I was greeted the same way, but I asked if there was a bar I could sit at. "Yes" she said. Each time I visited there was 4-6 empty bar stools and standing toom too. The tables are large; those all had plenty of room as well. Each time I visited in the past, the tasting room was very busy, but the area where there was music was not. I didn't see any signs showing there was music and I'm not sure they promote it. I wondered if the large crowd in the tasting room would be interested in ordering food and listening to music. It seems like a tremendous loss. We learned that anyone can sit on the lawn and purchase a bottle of wine and enjoy the music. But no one did this. I've asked all my friends that have visited multiple times as well, no one else seems to know this. My friend and I ordered wine (a pinot Grigio that was nothing like how the server described, nor did it resemble a Pinot Grigio). We also ordered dessert, a smoked berry w/creme & shortcake. What we received was a biscuit with a creme that tasted like buttermilk. It was awful! Back to our service...it was excellent. I'd recommend the underdog because of the ambience, great music & pleasant staff, but be warned of its short comings.

   This is our favorite go-to place for out of town guests. The setting is just perfect, great wines that compliment small plate dining. All YUM!!

   COLCANNON IS A GREAT ENTERTAINING PLACE! WE LOVE TO MEET FAMILY AND FRIENDS THERE WITH NO COOKING FOR ME AND GREAT FOOD FOR EVERYONE.

   Disappointed for the first time. Service on a Thursday evening in the bar was very poor. The waitress was not well informed and had to be repeatedly asked for water, more wine and food was not served as requested. We would have ordered more to drink but decided to leave due to poor service.

   As always underdog has great ambiance, with their new structure and bar on the grass it is agreat place to have an easy picnic. Shame it closes so early on a Sunday!

   Spent 10 minutes sitting at the table with no acknowledgement from the staff and no service. When we left we stopped at the host stand to inform her we were leaving, she seemed to be more bothered that we were talking to her rather then addressing the issue.

    I met two friends for lunch at Under Dog. It was the perfect weather to sit out on the patio. The view is of a huge lawn (great for kids to play on) and vineyards. Service was a little slow to start. The menu had changed - not a good thing, since I loved the sandwiches I have gotten there in the past. There were two wraps and two salads to choose from on the luncheon menu. We each had a wrap and a salad (two chicken and one beef were ordered). We also ordered drinks. When the drinks came, I had a full glass rather than the half that I had ordered. (Not a problem for most people, but I didn't want to be tempted!) Then two beef wraps came, instead of two chicken. But two chicken wraps showed up a few minutes later. The food was good, so we enjoyed it. When we finished, we had to ask several times (to two different people) for a box for the extra food. Then we waited quite a while (15-20 minutes) to get our check, after asking several times. I had an appointment, so waiting wasn't really an option. We just felt quite forgotten. I will go back, but only to see if things are better. The view, the patio dining, and the wine list are great.
