Welcome to Van Winkle, we look forward to serving you. We’ve sampled food all across the USA but our heart fell in love with the taste of classic BBQ and Grill dishes from Kentucky. Comfort food for the soul and incredible flavours.

Serving the largest selection of Bourbons in Scotland along with an awesome array of beers, wine and cocktails.

All our food is locally sourced, using on the highest quality products and prepared fresh, in house at Van Winkle.

We are in a great location, opposite the Barrowland Ballroom. Easy access from the City Centre or the East End.

Don't forget our hidden gem, The Jack Daniels Beer Garden, a great spot to enjoy a beer or two.

Our Bourbon mixologist will talk you through 4 of our most popular Bourbon’s during your own Bourbon tasting session. Some of the warmest and welcoming staff in Glasgow each time I visit. Frickles and wings! What more do you need as beer food before a gig! Really enjoyable.

Would recommend, we were attending an event at Barrowland so idea spot. Food was tasty and service quickly, prices reasonable for city centre. We had a table in the beer garden booked but unusually for Glasgow it was far too hot to eat outside so they accommodated us inside which was appreciated. Our server Robbie was fabulous, friendly, attentive and super efficient.

This is the fourth time I've visited Van Winkles and can confirm that the food has been consistently first class. The service is always on point with good fast service. It's tge perfect stop off for first class food -the onion rings are THE best - before going to the Barrowland across the road.

Been looking to try this place for a while now. Not disappointed. Portions are great and price in comparison with other eateries offering the same type of food. Defo be back!!

We had booked a table here late on how Eve when we arrived the table was ready to go straight away and service was over quickly to take the drinks order. Food was absolutely outstanding for both of us and we will definitely be going back again.

Food was great. Especially enjoyed the well seasoned onion rings. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. When there was a problem with my order which may have been partly my fault, they just sorted it with no grumbling or quibbling, plus they kept the drinks coming whenever we were ready without us having to ask them. Overall I would definitely recommend Van Winkle Barrowlands.
