Expect something completely different! We are a neighbourhood spot, yet nothing is ordinary. We specialize in Champagne & Fondue but have been known to stray... Our love is Champagne, and we love to share our passion. We have flights and one off bottles and always have something interesting lurking somewhere. The majority of our menu is gluten free and we are also very vegetarian friendly. We have an ever growing alcohol free list so you can be free to do you! We are a place that takes pride in our very specific offerings. We love what we do and how we do it. With 10 seats for regular nights around 15 people for Private Bookings, we cater to the intimate. Adorable wine bar in Killarney! Very small, and a bit tight, but very comfortable and intimate still. Amazing service, our server was lovely and shared a few wine facts with us that was super fun and she was so charming! The other gal was equally sweet and attentive. The fondue was amazing, as were the options for additional bites to dip. The real stunner was the sparkling wine we chose with the assistance of our server. Bright, crisp, sweet and a gorgeous dry finish. The perfect compliment to the rich cheese. Great spot for an intimate date night, we will definitely be back!

What a beautifully charming place with a great host. Was great for a girls night out. We had went for the bottomless fondue but changed to another to have different kinds of cheese, and added on a charcuterie & pickled mushrooms which were both a great addition to the fondue. The Cornichons (pickles) were great and added to help cleanse before more cheese. Surprising the green apple was refreshing with the fondue. We didn’t have any wine or champagne but enjoyed the Annex Saskatoon lemonade. It’s very quiet and quaint, which made for a great evening. We were very confused with the menu but our host was amazing at explaining it to us. So glad we found it and will be telling our friends. Our cost was around $65 a person which is a cheap night out for an experience.

The gals serving us were great and gave us super service. My guests and I enjoyed ourselves and loved the bottomless fondue snd chocolate fondue. I must say were were all stuffed leaving the place but it was worth it. It was a bit more expensive than we expected with all the champagne and sides we ordered, but it was fun and delicious and we had a great time!!! Book ahead for reservations - it’s a tiny place. Loved it!

Last night was our first time here. We loved it! Great fondue and a fabulous champagne and wine list. Well definitely be returning.

The photos don't do it justice. The space is small but decorated beautifully and it makes for the space to be warm and cozy. The food was delicious and a perfect spot for our anniversary celebration.

Loved our fondue and bubbles night at VarBar! Super cozy, intimate, setting. The fondue was fabulous and our server was delightful. Can’t wait to go back!

Good: Cheese fondue was solid and the venue was very cute. You could have a conversation, and hear each other. The server was friendly and explained the menu options clearly. Some things to know: For us, the value of the "add on" items was not there (very small portions). And the sausage was more like a small peperoni stick cut up (for $10). Also, it would have been helpful to know that the drinks like the virgin espresso martini for $13 came from a can, and were not made on site. No one at the table enjoyed them. Definitely go for the standard cheese and chocolate fondue -- they are great!
