My sister has Celiac disease, and was dismayed that nothing on the menu was labeled GF. The waiter did lots of consulting with the kitchen, and eventually found something she could eat. Even the tortilla chips were off limits because they cross contaminate in the fryer. This rarely happens in Mexican restaurants. Meanwhile, the kitchen ran out of avocados, so my meal had to be changed at the last minute because they said it would not taste the same. Also seated next to a very large party.

It was an interesting experience. They recently lost power and were blaming that for the delay with seating and food. I had a reservation and they sat my party quickly, but only based off of that. The server was great; however, the food was not. I understand things come up and appreciate them going out of their way to accommodate me and my party.

The design of Z’Tejas makes it feel like it is going to be a great experience and I will say the staff are friendly and the service is great. However outside of the Queso and Salsa, the food lacked flavor and seasoning. Things like onions in fajitas didn’t even taste like onions.

The food is always good. The service was not as good as in other visits. I noticed a staff shortage which I assumed prevented the crew to deliver a good experience to the majority of customers, but a couple of tables with special attention from all the team members.

Had to ask several times for refills, food was very slow to be served, and the restaurant was very noisy.

We were a large party for a birthday and our server was amazing and took great care of us! All the food was delicious, especially the cheese fries! That’s our favorite appetizer!

I really wanted to like it but it just fell short. Went for brunch and the food was all flavorless. The best thing we had was the quac and queso! There was hardly any gravy on the biscuits and gravy. We had to ask for an additional side. Which we regret as it was mainly grease! I was excited about the juevos rancheros and when it came out the presentation was great. However, it had no flavor! I asked for over easy eggs and they both were well done. No yoke which hindered the flavor even more. We won’t be back.

Waiter had trainee. Trainee took order. I asked for no onions with fajitas. Trainee asked waiter how to do that. Waiter and trainee argued at the table for what seemed like a lifetime about the possibility of it not being able to be done. Killed the entire vibe. Left very unhappy.
