   This was such a pleasant surprise and I'm so glad we had my birthday dinner here. We went at 5pm on a Saturday night and it was empty - just my husband and I and two other tables. The food was absolutely delicious with large portions. The fried plantains were the best we ever had. I had the shrimp with coconut sauce entree and mashed yams. My husband had the pulled pork. Both entrees were incredible and we would get them again.

   We have been going to Rebecca’s for over 20 years . The one disappointment was when we were seated the waiter said there were two changes on the menu. One was that the chirasco steak was now 56.00 up from 42 on the menu . If they raise the price by 30% they should at least print new menus . We enjoyed our dinner but the opening statement by the waiter did put a bad taste in our mouths towards going back

   Came here for Mother’s Day yesterday and the service was excellent. It’s also a great spot for a date night! They have a little outdoor seating in the back with a waterfall, perfect for a summer night. Will be returning soon 🤍

   The food is delicious—the flavors clean and bright. We started with guacamole served with plantain chips and chorizo sautéed with onions. I had the skirt steak with yucca fries and dirty rice. All well prepared. The service is friendly and well intentioned, but they could be more professional and check on tables a bit more. If you haven’t eaten here, you should. The food is excellent and we all know you can’t eat atmosphere.

   Great place, Great dinner, great service, the food was great. Perfect for Date night! It was a great experience. Highly recommend!

   AUTOMATIC TIP for a GROUP OF 4?? We went there for my birthday. First, they had no parking. Parking is on the street or down the block in a municipal lot. Then, the server was overworked. While 2 or 3 people were bussing tables, she seemed to be the only server for the whole restaurant. It was no wonder she made mistakes. The restaurant is BYO. So, when she brought us the wrong sangria blend, she should have taken it off the bill or offered to make the correct one with one of the bottles of wine they sold. The attendants rushed us. As the restaurant filled in, the restaurant got noisy. THEN, they included the tip for our party of 4 on the bill. I hadn't heard of a restaurant automatically adding a tip for a party so small - it's usually for parties of 6 or more. Our appetizers and entrees were good. The bread pudding was quite dry. I don't think I'll be back.

   A fair place to go and eat some Cuban cuisine. It's correct in all aspects. You won't be disappointed.
