    Restaurant is awesome, parking is absolutely a disaster. For the restaurant, food was excellent, service was very good (maybe not quite great, but that’s okay) and the ambience is wonderful. Parking is a mess. You have to get a ticket when you enter, which the restaurant validates. However, my ticket didn’t work. It kept coming up as “invalid” when I tried to exit. The attendant finally came to help after about five cars jammed up behind me. She was rude and didn’t speak much English. I kept telling her I didn’t understand, which made her more and more angry. She made me reverse in a dangerous manner, forcing me to slalom between cars while in reverse. She yelled at me a lot in a language I didn’t understand, and then she just walked away. I was stuck. Finally got out after a good 25 minutes. Will make me very cautious about eating there again. What a shame.

    We had a lovely experience at the Rusty Scupper jazz brunch. Everything was delicious, including the drinks. Everyone was very friendly and the jazz was the perfect touch! I highly recommend!

    It looks like segregation has returned to Maryland. With a white only section in the balcony and a blacks and white reject section below. They tried to sit my family next to a dog. When I complained the comment was made …. “It is a service dog they have papers”. If you know anything about service dogs you don’t roll them around in strollers, they don’t bark, and they are not allowed in dining establishments. Health and safety codes. If anything they should have put them in the “white only “ section, but they put them in the very back with the blacks and acted like it was okay. It was a miserable experience and for 472.77 I will never go back they have lost my business forever. Before I thought it was a great place now not I am discussed and disappointed. I never want to see them again. No apologies were offered and no compensation for the loss of appetite at a buffet style 62.00 per person plus automatic gratuity meal. How disgusting and disrespectful can you be ? I’ve never felt more dehumanized or disrespectful in my entire life than at the Rusty Scupper.

    The very best seafood I have had anywhere in the world. Oysters on the half shell, apps & main course were all great. Very high quality cocktails.

    Their crab cakes are the best. Even though it was lunch, we still ordered the dinner. Had some to take home for the next day!
