The Gilded Unicorn is a modern American classic restaurant that specializes in handcrafted American cuisine and handmade cocktails. We're under the historic Montvale Hotel in Downtown Spokane, Washington, in the historic Catacombs Restaurant. Our ambiance is old world, with a classic design that harkens back to Spokane.

The Gilded Unicorn reflects our eclectic mix of old and new. We take inspiration from classic American cuisine from the 1950s and '60s and recreate them as new sensations that punch you right in the feels.

Every meal is made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Instead of ground beef, mushroom soup, frozen tater tots, and cheddar cheese, we use braised short ribs, homemade mushroom cream sauce, Idaho tater tots, and four-year aged cheddar on top of that in our legendary tater tot casserole. So it's basically the same ingredients, but better quality and crafted by award-winning chefs, or as we like to call it, magical!
