I loved this restaurant. The food was inspired, the conversations were great and chef is so nice. Honestly this is one of the best dining experiences in NYC.
Polo and Stephanie opened Meadowsweet together in 2014 and they see it as an extension of their home. They both enjoy good food, friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere to dine in and that is exactly what they want their guests to experience when visiting Meadowsweet. When they are not at Meadowsweet you will find them upstate at Meadowsweet Farm with their daughter and son where they grow some amazing vegetables with Polo’s Dad to serve at Meadowsweet. They look forward to seeing you at Meadowsweet soon!

Loved our experience we arrived June 5th on a quiet Thursday evening pretty late and the waitress was very accommodating and genuinely interested in our feedback. Food runner was also professional we just couldn’t hear her very soft voice but luckily the waitress was there to always explain the meal ! Will be going there again !

We keep it down-to-earth. We're bound to start you off with something great to drink, alcoholic or not, and maybe some snacks while you look over the menu. We went to market this morning and we're going to make some delicious home cooked food and listen to some groovy music. And we've put together an excellent collection of soulful wines, spirits, and fermented beverages that we're excited to share with you. Holy mackerel…. They did it again….I brought an old pal to Chambers for a pre bday dinner and the kitchen turned out one dish after another of delightfully delicious farm fresh, gentle hand never more than 3 beats( this with that and a little bit of…)…. So outstanding…
Seems like there has been a little change in who’s tending the bar and some fresh new waiters… all excellent … even a tad warmer.

The service was wonderful. The food was delicious. My husband's skirt steak was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the crab and shrimp scampi.
The meatballs were some of the best I ever had, they melted in my mouth.
Would definitely go back.

Consistently one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn Heights. Excellent food with a neighborhood vibe. Small bare room could use some sound treatment.

this restaurant is everything that was good about the NYC in the old days. i could eat here every day. Every dish is excellent and the bar is the best place to be.

The food is really exceptional
The service was great and the price is reasonable.
However the only issue is the noise level is amazingly high.
This restaurant really need an acoustics treatment - even without music the noise level was very very high
