Der Gasthof Freemasons at Wiswell bietet außergewöhnliches Essen in einem eleganten Ambiente auf dem Land. Der Gasthof befindet sich im pittoresken Dorf Wiswell, in der Nähe von Clitheroe im malerischen Ribble Valley. Seit unserer Renovierung und Neueröffnung im Sommer 2009 haben wir eine treue Stammkundschaft gewinnen können, die die gemütliche Atmosphäre zu schätzen weiß. Steinfußböden, Wände in sanften Erdtönen, antike Teppiche und Möbel sowie ein Dekor mit alten Gemälden und Drucken schaffen eine elegante komfortable Atmosphäre. Die Bar bietet eine beeindruckende Auswahl an traditionellen Bieren von preisgekrönten unabhängigen Brauereien sowie über 250 erlesene Weine aus aller Welt. Die idyllische Umgebung lädt zum Verweilen ein, doch der Schwerpunkt liegt selbstverständlich auf unserer ausgezeichneten Küche. Küchenchef und Eigentümer Steven Smith hat ein einzigartiges vielfältiges Menü kreiert, das den Stil und die Atmosphäre des Restaurants perfekt komplettiert. Wir freuen uns darauf, Sie mit einem gastronomischen Erlebnis der besonderen Art zu verwöhnen.

    We booked to stay over at Freemasons and treat ourselves to the 7 course taster menu. It was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. The rooms are to a very high standard and so comfortable. All staff are super friendly and helpful I cannot fault anything at the freemasons . An amazing experience.

    A very reasonably priced set lunch. Absolutely delicious. Great service. Great tunes playing quietly. Love the layout and decor. A wonderful mid week treat

    A warm welcome from Andrew was followed with delicious food and excellent service from all the staff. The Spring Menu was extremely good value at £37.50 and the little fishy snack was divine! The quality of the service from Andrew was outstanding and the best I’ve ever received.

    Booked the Freemason’s Arms for my partners Birthday and it did not disappoint. As soon as we arrived Andrew greeted us and wished my OH a Happy Birthday then appeared shortly after with a lovely card! Snacks arrived soon after and were delicious… we visited on a Sunday so had the 3 course menu and everything was superb, probably one of the best meals we have had (and that’s saying something as we eat out a lot!). The pub itself is in a lovely location and the sun was shining so after we had eaten, we sat out at the front to finish our drinks. The staff were attentive, friendly and polite and as mentioned the food was excellent. We will definitely be back and would recommend a visit to The Freemasons Arms!
