Always excellent! Exciting food and Wine list!!!!!!
Incredible dining experience from the moment we arrived. Food was sublime and some amazing wines to pair.
Atmosphere was excellent in the restaurant. Service was outstanding with a good balance of professionalism and personality. Jeremy is a star!
Fantastic food, service and setting. Not cheap but if you are going to spend that on a meal, this is as good a place as any to spend it!
Stunning experience as always. This is such a treat. Exquisite food complemented by friendly and informal but perfect service make for a winter’s evening cocooned from the world. Yes it’s expensive but the care, technical prowess and inventiveness that goes into the memorable food makes it great value for money in my book. Thank you.
Absolutely terrific dining experience. No complaints - they catered to pescatarian diets very well and even gave us an extra surprise for our anniversary. Would 100% recommend.
Perfect. The food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere, everything!
Great overall experience...food, pace of meal, atmosphere , staff were also excellent!
This was our third visit to The Ledbury, probably our favorite restaurant in London, and the third time was certainly a charm. On this occasion, we were celebrating our 35th anniversary. The service is impeccable, without being stuffy or formal. The maitre d' was friendly and helpful--and surprised us with a special dessert in honor of the occasion. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, finding a wine in our preferred price range that was a wonderful match for our dinner. Of course, the food is superb--combining flavors and textures that are unmatched. It was truly a special occasion. Although it is expensive by any measure, The Ledbury is a good value for the excellence in food, wine, and service.
First course was plopped down on our table without any explanations about what it was or how to eat it (this improved marginally over the course of our meal though a couple of times we couldn’t understand the explanation and unsure if the server understood us when we asked a question as he just disappeared), asked the sommelier for a super dry/mineral Chablis without a hint of sweetness and he served us a lukewarm bottle that was sweet and fruity. Would have sent it back but it was quite late at that point. The fish was tough and not finished, My meat was well cooked to a perfect medium rare but my husband’s was way too rare...like they forgot to cook it at all! Maybe this was an off night for the chef and the waitstaff but the bill was £200/person. For a two Michelin star restaurant and at that price, we were beyond disappointed. We had been at Bibendum the week earlier and that is how a two Michelin star restaurant should be. We should be walking out happy to have spent £200/ person, not disappointed and embarrassed that we suggested it to our friends.
One of the most consistent Michelin dining experiences. You will likely never be disappointed going here.
Second time to the restaurant and as per usual, the dishes are complex in palate and visuals but refined and delicately balanced flavours.
Best value for money for a tasting menu (£165 for 8 courses), which includes 2 canapes and 2 post dessert treats.
My family has been to a few Michelin restaurants collectively in the UK and we all agree we would go back to The Ledbury above all.
Another wonderful lunch at The Ledbury. Sheer perfection of food with perfect wine matches.
Wonderful, exquisite tasting menu - every dish a delight. World-class service from an international team- not too stuffy or formal but highly professional. Some of the best food I have had in London/the UK.
Superb food and excellent service. A real dining experience.
I proposed there. The maitre’d was most accommodating. The food was, as ever, sublime.
Always the best in the world thank you et a tres bientot merci
A fantastic dining experience
An absolute class act by everyone at The Ledbury last night. The food was superb, the staff were outstanding and a special occasion was made very special by this team. A night to remember and a big thank you.
This will always be my favourite restaurant in London. I've dined here many times since it opened and the food is second to none. There delicate amuse bouche are exquisite and the attention to detail with the food pairing and presentation are amazing. Each dish is exciting and intriguing and makes you want to dance for joy! Impeccable attentive service glides seamlessly around you, I feel it's a privilege to eat here and savour every moment when I do.
Good food, great sommelier. Overall a place that can be recommended without reservations.
I had been trying to get a reservation here for over a year because I was almost always trying to book last minute. This visit, I booked in advance. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. Service was rushed, but attentive. At this level of dining, I would expect nothing short of perfect. The food, meh - a couple of impressive courses, but other than that, forgettable.
It didn’t start well - it felt like we were being rushed through our glass of champagne and canapés. Perhaps, this was because we had a 9:45 reservation and the staff were anxious to get us on our merry way so we wouldn’t be there too late by the end of the meal. The canapés arrived before the champagne, in quick succession. Then while we were still having canapés, our white burgundy arrived (we chose a glass of white burgundy for the first two courses and then a bottle of red burgundy for the rest of the courses).
At one point, we had our champagne glass, still fairly full when our first course arrived. The white wine arrived after the food arrived. It was just awkward and we didn’t even have a chance to enjoy what was in front of us before something else was happening. In the middle of our second course, they brought us the red burgundy as well. We had a half-full glass of champagne, the white burgundy we were still drinking, and the red burgundy.
It didn’t feel like a nice meal - constantly being interrupted and having no time to enjoy what was already in front of us.
When the restaurant emptied, I asked if my guest could move to the side of me vs across the table, and while the staff agreed to let us, I ended up moving the chair myself and then we had to hear how awkward it was for the staff afterwards.
Given the many phenomenal restaurants in London, I would definitely recommend many many others over The Ledbury.
The vegetarian tasting menu is a work of art, taking your mouth to unexplored regions of the flavour universe.
Fantastic experience. Staff went the extra mile to mark my husband's birthday. Food was beautifully presented. A very enjoyable couple of hours. Would highly recommend for a special occasion or if you just wish to spoil yourself.
Fantastic meal as always. Great support from all staff
Outstanding food and service as usual. Nowhere else compares! Perfect.
Outstanding food but I wished I hadn’t chosen the wine pairing
Really delicious and special meal. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing.
A wonderful, relaxed and exquisite meal.
A truly wonderful gastronomic experience
Brilliant, understated quality with no pretensions. Naturally, would like to wine to be a little less expensive and would definitely like there to be a British sparkler on the list. All in all, pretty dam good and we will be back.
Chinese new year
One of the best dinning experiences in the world! That made our anniversary even more special! Thank you to the whole team
Yes it’s expensive, but the four course meal actually had multiple tasters throughout, which was a nice touch. Service was exceptional, food was an experience, like nothing I’ve ever had before. An excellent restaurant and one everyone should get to experience.
we had the tasting menu and it was very nice apart from the meat dish (doe) which I didn't really enjoy but all the rest was amazing and well paired with the wine. The staff was very nice.
Personally, the food does not really suit my taste. Starters or 1st/2nd course did not serve the functionality to increase the appetite properly. The last drink was the choice of coffee or tea. It was nearly 11:00 PM. Caffeine usually affects my sleep but I am not being notified the tea/coffee is optional.
Excellent and creative tasting menu with no gimmicks. Super service from very skilled staff
