We had an amazing night! The atmosphere created by the wonderful staff added to the whole experience. The Countess was beautifully decorated and the tables looked spot on. When the food was served - it was super fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. If you are wanting to celebrate a special occasion - or even a treat, this is definitely one of the best ways to do just that.

Everything at Cheals is just effortlessly impeccable. The service is genuinely the perfect balance between welcoming, friendly yet entirely professional, not contrived, and this is not easy to make you feel such a welcome guest. The afternoon tea and cocktail menu is impossible to find criticism. All in all just fabulous, see you soon!

Lovely food in beautiful surroundings. This isn't a cheap afternoon tea but great for a treat and it's lovely to have a well thought out vegan menu. It was a shame the menu was different from the one advertised on the website - we were looking forward to the raspberry and chocolate pebble (the passionfruit cheesecake was amazing but we weren't too keen on the carrot cake) - but the food was still great. It would be good to have a choice of plain or fruit scones. Neither of us like raisins so we had to pick them out! Service was exemplary and the room was lovely - just a little too quiet as we were the only ones in at that time. We would definitely come back.

We had an early Saturday evening meal at the Alamack. We had not visited before as we do not live locally. Valerie is a credit to you… a lovely lady who made sure we had a great evening. I had GF chicken skewers and chips with honey baby corn and a couple of very nice cocktails. My husband had chicken parmagiano with chips and he very much enjoyed. We thought the cost was reasonable and we would return. Thank you again Valerie.
