Delicious food and outstanding service. All the staff were friendly, extremely polite and knowledgeable. Made it a memorable experience. Everyone enjoyed even my youngest who is 9 and said the restaurant was ‘heaven’!

Finally went for afternoon tea on the Countess of York! We visited on 11th Sept. It was wonderful, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic! The regular staff member who usually does the afternoon tea service was unfortunately not able to be there, so responsibility fell to another staff member who was having to split his time between the afternoon tea service and the cafe area. Despite this, he was fantastic, very friendly and attentive!! I’m sorry that I didn’t get his name! We had a brilliant afternoon celebrating my dad’s 70th and will definitely be returning!

Really lovely afternoon tea for myself and five friends. The whole afternoon was perfect. Fabulous location; the Garden Room was made for afternoon tea 😊 The staff were so friendly, courteous; made us feel very welcome.
