Exceptional in every way. I’ve reviewed Ember several times previously and as my visits approach 30 since it opened, I can honestly say it’s the most amazing experience. Cooking over open fire provides a special ambiance. The chefs and front of house team are friendly, knowledgeable and really great. Above all, the food is fabulous. We do small plates dining and share our choices in order to get the best experience. Starters, fish, meats and vegetables are all wonderful - you may need Google to learn about some of the unusual ingredients - or just ask the staff. The menu changes regularly as they take advantage of the best seasonal produce. Leave room for a dessert though. The sticky toffee pudding is very special and always on the menu so it’s a toss up to decide whether to order it or one of the other fabulous puddings.

Our table server was a young girl named chloe and from start to finish the service was great, always there when we wanted another drink or anything else. She stood out from everyone else because of the service she gave me and my partner. Because there was live music and it was quite loud (not complaining) she got down our our level when orsering food to ensure she heard us right and was consistently nice all evening. Another girl brought our drinks and the same cant be said for her unfortunately, she spilled some of my beer on the table and barely spoke, left the drinks and went, she later that evening brought me a glass of water and didnt even look at me when she came over and just said “tap water” and left. The review would not be as high as it is if she was our server. Chloe was great thank you.
