Charming village proper pub. My brothers were visiting me and we went for lunch. Just as they remembered it from years ago, but with a few new additions. Lovely.

It was truly my first time visiting for dinner in twenty years. I was absolutely delighted to have supper in such a marvellous atmosphere, which reminded me of what a proper British pub ought to be. One minor issue, however, was that because we were seated in the dining room at the back, the waiting staff tended to leave rather long gaps between visits to our table. Consequently, we were unable to order additional drinks in a timely manner. On the other hand, the staff were all incredibly friendly, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
