A neighborhood gem! Everything is homemade. Portions are generous but not overwhelming and prices are reasonable, considering the high quality. Friendly, attentive staff.

OUTSTANDING restaurant. This was our 2nd visit. I am a Louisiana Cajun who moved to Durham at age 75. I grew up about 5 miles from Pecan Island, La., which the website says is the "home" of Seraphine's owners. The food brings treasured memories, but MUCH fancier and more cosmopolitan. The cuisine also has "creole" influence (but, hey, nothing is perfect (🤩)) and if you're a fan of New Orleans food, that's a good thing. Our server was fantastic, one of the best I've ever had. She was always there, had great advice about the menu, and was simply a pleasure with whom to visit. The entire restaurant and all the staff were wonderful. We'll be back.

The food is spectacular. They always find a way to switch things up to make everyone enjoy a different experience each time with each dish. The staff is clearly very well trained and extremely polite. I highly recommend this establishment for fine dinning. If your willing to spend a tad bit more for a wonderful and welcoming experience this is the place you want to go. Ryan and Evan are the brains of this entire restaurant but the both of them have curated the staff to be just as professional as they are.

A neighborhood gem. Limited but very good menu. Excellent choice of cheese, good wine. Friendly staff, owners friendly and personable. Best lobster bisque!

Excellent food and service. Electic menu with great portion sizes. Duck poblano and rabbit fritters were amazing!
