Located inside the Westley Hotel in the heart of Downtown Calgary, Fonda Fora is an exciting new contemporary Mexican restaurant brought to you by the folks at Thank You Hospitality. Chef Jhonattan Lona has crafted a menu based on his upbringing in Querétaro and his journey in kitchens across the world. Much of our concept is based around the heirloom corn of Mexico. We import four types of corn from a collective of heirloom farms in Mexico in order to provide the best product we can. We process this corn from raw and turn it into masa for dishes all across our menu, like our Sope, Tamal, and of course, Tortillas. There is a saying in Mexico that we live by at Fonda Fora: "Sin maíz no hay país," meaning without corn, there is no country. Maíz is the lifeblood of Mexican cuisine, and we are excited to present it to you as it should be.

    We had a range for ages and food requirements at our table and we were all happy with the experience! The servers were all attentive with great suggestions and little extras to make my daughter feel special on her birthday. The food was delicious and options were great for a celiac with us.

    We had an amazing experience at Chocoberry! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and everything tasted fresh. The desserts were incredible, and the service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is modern, cozy, and perfect for spending time with family and friends. Definitely one of the best spots in Calgary for brunch and desserts. We’ll absolutely be coming back and highly recommend Chocoberry! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
