I and a small group of friends have dined here on several occasions. We joked that we come here so often we might end up trying everything on the menu. It really is good food.

And Goldilocks said "This is Juuuusst Right". We were looking for an absolute top tier place for a 25th anniversary (group of 5). Looking for the best food we could get in Austin BUT - Not tooo loud but not an art gallery, Not tooo modern but not stuffy, Wait staff not tooo casual but not performative, Food not tooo experimental but not boring. Wow did they ever deliver. If you want to a high end meal that makes your group feel special, this is it. Everything was executed perfectly. The drinks were a lot of fun. The service was impeccable and professional. The food had just enough flair and thoughtfulness to delight without risking the reception - and when it is executed like it was for us; just fantastic! This is hearty food (bread to die for, bone marrow, caviar, crudo, Beef Wellington, Dover sole) and portions are generous across the board; we like to try as many different things as we can and got a little worried we were going to flame out but we found places to put it all. Go with people who mean something to you. Share everything. This is just the warm hug you are looking for.

The food and service was fantastic, as well as the cocktails. We got sat at a table for two, and were squeezed into a section with other couples on both sides of us. It was impossible to not hear each others conversations and left us mostly silent for most of the meal because we had no privacy. My girlfriend is 5’2 and petite and I had to completely move the table for her to be able to get out from the bench seat. Next time, we’ll be reserving a table for 4, just for the two of us. All else was fantastic!

Food was perfect, wine pairings just as perfect, seated immediately. Could not have been better. Not sure if I’ve had anything that great in the past couple months
