Die bereits vom The Mollie Fontaine Lounge, Do Sushi und Another Roadside Attraction Catering bekannte Küchenchefin und Gastronomin Karen B. Carrier eröffnete das Restaurant The Beauty Shop an einem Ort, an dem sich Priscilla Presley einst die Haare kräuseln und färben lassen haben soll. Das Restaurant ist ein Lager-Wunderland mit einer Vitrolite-Fassade aus der Jetson-Ära, einer Bar, die die Waschbecken ersetzt, und Sitzmöglichkeiten unter Belvedere-Haartrocknern. Carrier ist ein verrücktes Genie ihrer Art. Das Motto des Restaurants lautet „gut aussehen, gut essen”, und während der Ort dafür sorgt, dass Sie gut aussehen möchten, werden Sie im The Beauty Shop gut essen. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig und umfasst bodenständige amerikanische Küche mit internationalen Einflüssen. Das The Beauty Shop ist das coolste, angesagteste Restaurant in der Umgebung.
