We went for a friend’s birthday lunch and there was 6of us, we were made very welcome and all the safe said hello, we had a beautiful table with a birthday banner on and nothing was a problem for the staff. Staff were always smiling even though it was very busy they were taking time to check in with people to have a small chat. Are food came out all at the same time and was fresh and hot,, looked beautiful presented. The even sang happy birthday with a cake for her which just made the whole lunch memorable, overall a fantastic lunch thank you silvers panty

We Went for the chefs set menu to experience how the chef wanted us to experience his food. We did not regret it. The food was full of flavour and interesting combinations that worked very well together.

We love the friendly welcome given by the staff at the River Shack. Table with a beautiful view and the food is tasty and fits the setting. A place to return to!

Outstanding. Food was superb, and lovely that they included little extra courses and snacks in amongst the already reasonably sized portions. Each full of flavour. Particularly like that they had so many local and homemade additions to the menu and drinks selection - including locally sourced wines. The servers were friendly and passionate about what they did which made the experience a 10 out of 10.

Had the best Sunday Roast staff were polite and attentive made us feel very welcome would 100% recommend the Kings Arms
