Speakeasy Ottawa is a live music and dining destination on York Street, in the heart of the ByWard Market and a short walk from the Rideau Centre and Parliament Hill.The kitchen serves an internationally inspired menu built for sharing, alongside larger mains and a bar that takes classic cocktails seriously. Vegan and gluten free options run through every section of the menu.Live music Thursday through Saturday from 7 PM: jazz, soul and vocal performances from resident artists, with ticketed concerts and special shows through the month. Low light, dark wood and a room designed to keep you for one more set. Come for dinner, stay for the music.The main room seats 60 for dinner or holds 100 standing, and the full space is available for private events, corporate evenings and venue buyouts.Step free access is available through the rear parking garage entrance with a member of our team.     A small dining room with great ambiance and decor. There was only my party and one other twosome in the restaurant at the time of our visit so service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion. The food was perfectly cooked, filling, and very tasty. We will be back.
