Here at Nuba, we offer authentic, healthy Mediterranean & Lebanese cuisine in harmony and rhythm with modern times. We seek out the freshest ingredients—organic and local when available—and handpick them daily. A large portion of our menu is vegan and gluten free. All meats are halal, non-medicated, and hormone free. Our original recipes have been passed down through several generations, and sincerely nurtured. While the cornerstones of the menu remain unchanged for over a century, many recipes have evolved through time and travel into a beautiful balance of traditional and contemporary cuisine. Nuba Underground, the original Nuba restaurant, was inspired by an independent and modern Beirut during the 1940s. At Nuba in Gastown we offer the same menu at lunch that made us famous for fresh and flavourful food. After 5 p.m. the lights dim and Nuba’s nightly adventures begin with an evening menu that captures the traditional Lebanese style of sharing with new and innovative dishes.
