Had a great time at Barchef - went with my friend after a concert. It was our first time and perhaps we were a bit confused & asking a bit too many questions, the first server/bartender seemed annoyed by us. He was dismissive and just left our table to get us "water" instead of helping us get a better understanding of certain things. No biggie. We then had a female server - omg - she made our night. She explained the different types of drinks & the tasting menu. She made recommendations. What an absolute breath of fresh air. Our mood changed immediately and we didnt feel like complete idiots. My drinks (Especially the Pennicilin) were gorgeous - the sliders & lobster roll 10/10. The fries meh - dont get it. Would I go again? Yes!

A visit to the Library Bar is always a special occasion. The cocktails are inventive and interesting, and always masterfully constructed. The menu is beautiful, with something for everyone. The food is of the highest quality and never disappoints. The most important element is the service, which at the Library Bar is truly world-class.

Joanna was absolutely AMAZING! She truly went above and beyond for us from the moment she stepped in. We originally had another server, but Joanna ended up taking care of us, and honestly, that was the best thing that could have happened to our experience. She was so personable and welcoming that it genuinely felt like we had known her forever. She even went out of her way to offer us an off menu item that was absolutely delicious, which just showed how much she cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. I can confidently say Joanna is by far one of the best servers I have ever had, if not the best. Her personality, attentiveness, recommendations, and overall energy completely carried our experience here. You can tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of people rather than just going through the motions. She made us feel comfortable, valued, and taken care of the entire time. If you come here, ASK FOR JOANNA! She is truly incredible and deserves all the recognition. We will absolutely be back because of her! ❤️
