Framed by large windows with views to the vines and featuring private dining nooks, the restaurant is perfect for an intimate dining experience, driven both by generations of Barossa culture and contemporary Australian style and innovation. Executive Chef Sam Cooper offers a seasonal tasting menu for $175 per person. Matched wines may be added for $85 per person, alternatively a comprehensive wine list and range of other beverages is available. Corkage is $25 per bottle. A public holiday surcharge of 10% applies. Please note any dietary and food preferences on your booking and our team will create an appropriate menu for your specific requirements.     We had a great experience at Coal Cellar and Grill, the food was excellent with the steak cooked perfectly? Once seated it’s take some time to be acknowledged by staff and water provided. However a very positive experience overall.

    From the moment we entered the restaurant we could not fault it. Taken to our table and promptly greeted by wait person with menu. Food was quick to be served and delicious. We both had the scotch fillet which was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauce was amazing. Dessert was just as amazing. It was a little noisy to start with but the restaurant was very busy when we arrived but got quieter as the time went on. Staff appeared to be handling everyone promptly which I’m sure made a lot of people happy. Definitely recommend

    The view and food were simply incredible. Our host, Izzy, was unbelievable. Her knowledge of food, wine and the region was outstanding. We would be very keen to return and experience another incredible menu. What an experience. Amazing!!!!
