With the interior bridging the gap between cosy old world and strikingly contemporary gives The Foresters a broad appeal – family friendly but popular with couples of all ages too. Not only highly recommended for its wide selection of beers, real ales and wines but for its regularly changing menu of gastropub style food mostly influenced by traditionally British flavours and local, seasonal produce. A perfect setting for a lingering evening meal and drinks or for a hearty lunch after a bracing walk around the local.

Seit seiner Eröffnung im November 2011 ist das 34 Mayfair zu einem modernen Klassiker geworden. Eine farbenfrohe Sammlung moderner Kunst verleiht dem Raum eine warme und gemütliche Atomsphäre. Highlight ist der maßgefertigte Holzkohlegrill in der offenen Küche. Der Grill, der auch als Parrilla bezeichnet und mit natürlichen Brennstoffen beheizt wird, wurde speziell angefertigt und aus Argentinien importiert. Hier werden neben Rindfleisch auch saisonales Wild, Fisch und Krustentiere zubereitet. Im 34 Mayfair werden schottisches, dry-aged und mit Gras gefüttertes Rind, australisches Wagyu-Rind und bestes amerikanisches, mit Mais gefüttertes Rind von der Creekstone Farm verwendet. Am Wochenende findet ein Brunch statt. Sie genießen ein Hummer-Thermidor-Omelett, Krabben- & gegrillte Spargel-Frittata sowie Buttermilchpfannkuchen, Räucherschinken und Ahornsirup. Die Bar, wo Sie speisen können oder einen Aperitif einnehmen, erhielt bereits zahlreiche Auszeichnungen. Außerdem erleben Sie hier jeden Abend Live-Klaviermusik sowie samstags und sonntags ein Jazz-Trio.
