This is a new restaurant that you need to seek out if you want to try a new taste experience. We were the only people there for lunch as it is away from the main Winchester shopping streets, but only a short walk, so make the effort. Nice small menu, beautifully executed by lovely friendly staff. Each plate is carefully constructed with optimal taste in mind. We started with fried olives with Feta and followed with 3 small dishes which was perfect - Bao buns (one each) Bavette Steak and Aubergine. All served with carefully crafted lightly pickled salad & veg. Memorable meal indeed!!

Lovely meal. We had the set menu which gave a good choice. I had been before and had really enjoyed the food but I hadn’t been for a long while as I had heard bad reports. I am glad the restaurant is as good as before. One of my fellow diners was on his 3 visit and confirmed they had also been delighted with the food

Year since we have been to the spotted cow lots of changes it was stunning. Took my sister in law for lunch we were the only ones there then all of a sudden people started turning up they seemed to be regulars the atmosphere was good. Food very good reasonably priced & piping hot. Thought the wine was very expensive £32.50 for a pinot Grigio. Overall very good would recommend

Very pleasant restaurant - the waitress, Stephanie was especially helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. The decor and wood panelled room was so attractive.
