The MISO SALMON was absolutely divine. Beautifully cooked and the perfect portion.

Despite me seeing a bunch of reviews of poor customer service on TikTok, I had a wonderful experience with no complaints. I was greeted, I was sat down immediately at my table, and my server Jayomi was communicative and knowledgeable about the menu and following up about any wait time on food or drinks. The food was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to return for the lobster roll and fries. 

I’ve eaten at Uchiko more times than I can count, and there’s a reason I keep coming back—it’s simply one of the best restaurants in Houston. The consistency is unbelievable. Every visit, the food is exceptional, from the freshest sushi and sashimi to the incredible hot dishes. The quality, creativity, and attention to detail never disappoint. What really separates Uchiko is the people. The service is always warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. They make every meal feel like an experience instead of just dinner. Whether it’s a date night, business dinner, or just because I’m craving incredible Japanese food, Uchiko is always at the top of my list. If you’re in Houston and haven’t been, you’re missing out. This place has absolutely earned my loyalty.
