Gustazo Waltham is owned and led by executive chef Patricia Estorino, a two-time James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Best Chef: Northeast. Gustazo has been recognized as Best of Boston on multiple occasions and has been consistently named to Boston’s 50 Best Restaurants list for several years, a distinction achieved by very few restaurants in the region.The word Gustazo means great pleasure, and the phrase darse un gustazo refers to treating oneself, or someone else, to something special. Located few blocks from Porter Square, Gustazo brings authentic Cuban flavors to the greater Boston dining scene. Its festive and original décor reflects the spirit of Havana, blending Spanish colonial architecture, 1950s nostalgia, and vibrant Cuban modern art.
