We thoroughly enjoyed our whole meal the service and the atmosphere. Just perfect for us. We were going to a performance at Derby theatre. Really convenient and the food was adaptable. My husband had a main but I just had two starters, as I didn’t want to sleep through the play, later on!😂

7 of us went for a birthday lunch. Value for money is incredible and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Finally managed to get to this lovely venue after hearing from others, how amazing it is. They were not wrong 😊. Booked for a Tue evening and it was full! Had a table for 4. Enjoyed a mix of starters of House lamb fat Focaccia & Gordal olives & chicken liver parfait & The Reuben (❤️). Small plates for mains were pork, beef, 2 types of fish, asparagus, carrots & black pudding, nduja scotch eggs & scallops. Our desserts were dark chocolate and beef fat fudge, gooseberry, chocolate peanut. The food was excellent. Such an eclectic mix of flavours and textures! An absolute shout out to the lovely attentive staff. Friendly, super helpful and really made you feel welcome 😊. Really liked the soft ambient lights and even though it was busy, still felt we could chat, this is down to the tables being spaced apart well.

Lovely service and delicious food. We went to Gills & Co for the first time and absolutely loved it. We celebrated my husbands birthday (just the two of us) Welcomed straight away and led to our table which had a little Happy Birthday sign. The sommelier (Steve?) was incredible and spent time with us to talk about the wines we had selected and introduced us to a few new to us. Fabulous night and will definitely visit again. Hands down the best place in Chesterfield whether you’re getting brunch or small plates in the evening. The atmosphere and the service are next level and the food is incredible. 100% would recommend this place to anyone local or visiting.
