    Well another visit to the Travellers Rest. One thing you have to say about 'The Rest' (as we call it) is that its consistent...every single time we visit its spot on. Elysia, Dave and the team are so welcoming and the food is excellent. Beautifully cooked and presented. We had our usual Sunday Roast....and it never, ever fails to be anything other than gorgeous. Thank you as always for a lovely experience.

    An excellent dining experience in a great dining room. Only criticism and it’s a small one is it took a long while for our table to be cleared, whilst others around us seemed to cleared pretty soon after the diners had finished. That said, overall the staff were attentive and helpful and deserved the tip we left.
