Last minute booking on a Saturday night. The waiter was excellent - knowledgeable and passionate about the menu, whilst resulted in all three of us thoroughly enjoying all courses. My wife’s pork chop and my salmon were both amazing. As an impromptu treat whilst dropping our daughter off at the start of her term, it was faultless.

Always an excellent meal and service at the Hop Vine; we are lucky to have it on our doorstep!

Outstanding service by really friendly staff and a great choice on the menu. We were a party of 8 most making different choices and everyone cleaned their plates enough said. Our Labrador was also with us and fussed and spoilt by the staff throughout the evening. We can highly recommend our visit and will be back. Thank you all.

Came for lunch with my friend, the food was delicious and eggs were cooked exactly as we requested. The young waitress that served us (sorry didn’t get her name) was really friendly and helpful. Not my first time at the golf club, but the first time for my friend, she throughly enjoyed it and was talking about going again in the future.

'Home' really does live up to the name, the vibe in there is so lovely, relaxed, welcoming and with an authentic homely feel. I can't recommend this place enough, the food is incredible, we have been for breakfast, lunch and Sunday dinner and all 3 have been amazing. The staff are attentive, the owner John is always present constantly checking in with the customers ensuring they are happy with their food and service. I think the prices are spot on too, 3 courses on a Sunday for £28 is amazing, none of the quality is compromised because of the offer, all incredible dishes. If you haven't tried here already, you MUST!
