Had a great experience at Tap 42 in Kendall for a birthday celebration. Our waitress was amazing.

Always excellent food and service. Music is low enough to have good conversations.

Excellent pancakes and best bacon I have ever eaten plus very good coffee. Service really fast, consistent follow up, felt that we were paid attention even though it was jammed. Recommend reservation. Only negative was that the music is loud so with all the noise from customers, hard to speak and be heard. Maybe some soft mellow jazz in the AM’s or nothing. Full bar available and on weekend evenings place turns into a burger joint with what look like interesting choices.

I had reservations and when I got there only 1 table of 6 was available. After, I mentioned we had reservations, he sat the other group without reservations where we should of been seated. However, he immediately moved a couple that were seating on a table of 4 to get our table together. They didn't seem happy about it and I believe he should of never moved them to sit us. What they should of done, was not let the other group sit before us and have them wait since they didn't have any reservation. At the end everything worked out. They need to add other type of meats not just NY Steak and more options with shrimp as well. Overall, the food was not bad, and I would definitely go again.

The food was pretty good. The conchitas a la parmesana were excellent. I had the lunch special of half a ceviche and small portion of lomo saltado. The lomo was tasty but was lacking sauce so it was kind of dry. Another person ordered the full Lobo and that one was pretty juicy. The drinks were okay.
