Wonderful atmosphere and staff and great food and drinks

Nestled in a historic building on Granbury’s square, the 1890 Grille and Lounge has beautifully preserved its architectural charm and period decor, all while offering incredible meals and exceptional service. Our server, Hannah, truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted. She’s a master of the art of being constantly attentive without being intrusive, always appearing just when we needed her, as if she could read our minds. Thank you so much, Hannah, for making our special occasion so memorable! The food was absolutely amazing. My wife’s New York Strip was top-notch beef, perfectly cooked to her liking. I had the most delicious Chilean sea bass ever. Both dishes were perfectly complemented by sides and started with salads topped with the 1890s delicious in-house-made dressing. Then dessert - what can I say? Just WOW! Try the banana pudding or chocolate cake. Better yet, try both and share them. Did I mention, WOW! Overall, we had a wonderful meal in a beautiful and historic setting, with service that was truly exceptional! We highly recommend the 1890 Grille and Lounge and suggest you ask for Hannah as your server for an unforgettable experience!
