Just a great village pub experience and left feeling very happy so perfect start to the weekend

Absolutely delicious! Hubby and I went for lunch and had the taco board for 2 and specialty drinks. There are 4 fillings plus guacamole, salsa, soured cream and fresh tortillas to create your own tacos at the table. My favorite was the shredded beef brisket. Just spicy enough without being overpowering. We are American Ex-Pats missing our authentic Mexican restaurants, and Gordos was exactly what we were craving. Wishing the salsa was chunky, but this was delicious, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The chef was working on chimichangas as we left, and they looked amazing, too. We will definitely go back!

Delicious food, friendly staff, great service. It was quiet when we went as it was midweek, so the ambience would probably be better at the weekend. Would highly recommend.

Year since we have been to the spotted cow lots of changes it was stunning. Took my sister in law for lunch we were the only ones there then all of a sudden people started turning up they seemed to be regulars the atmosphere was good. Food very good reasonably priced & piping hot. Thought the wine was very expensive £32.50 for a pinot Grigio. Overall very good would recommend

Just love The Percy. Love the food. Love the location & even though it’s a distance away from us (45mins), it’s well worth the journey. Inside is very nice but outside does it for me. ……except for the wasps that is. My wife and I generally go with friends BUT i also go with a bunch of my ex work colleagues who also love The Percy. As one of them is a steak fiend but fussy, it fits his palette and I’m glad to say , he doesn’t complain like he seems to do elsewhere. Now, a big shout out to The Percy team. I’ve got to know main man Sean and love the chat but frankly every member of the team we’ve spoken to has been friendly, informative and fun. Can’t beat a bit of fun can you. While i know The Percy is renowned for its steaks and for very good reason, I’m a bit of a trialalist so will often seek out something a bit different. Glad to say The Percy wont let you down if you do. I’m a huge fan of fish and their Trout starter is a joy. if you fancy a Pork chop. The Percy has you covered. Anyhow just pop over and give it a try folks even if it’s just for a drink but I guarantee you if you do you’ll be there again to eat …….I’ve already booked again.
