Locally sourced and perfectly cooked food in a locally run restaurant with a fabulous wine list, a really friendly welcome, amazing service and great ambiance, a wonderful night out in the best restaurant in Exeter and beyond!

First time we have been here for over 30 years after moving away and now back in Devon. Pleased to say we had a lovely meal with fish pancakes and cod mornay. Really nice dining area and good to see that this character pub has not changed or lost any of its' charm. We would definitely recommend and will be back here much quicker than 30 years this time!

I have being to many restaurants in my life from high end to a typical pub but the food at Lost in Rio was by far the nicest food I have ever had in my life. The meats were moist tasty and cooked perfectly the flavours were unbelievable the fries were great and the garlic mushrooms were to die for also the 2 cocktails me and my partner had each were fantastic overall the bill was around £90 for the both of us with drinks and we could not finish the food the portion sizes were great if I have one negative it would be the mac and cheese side order a bit more cheese please but overall I was massively impressed we will be back without a doubt.

Superb from start to finish. Our waitress was lovely, very helpful and kind about my allergies. The food was lovely - everything was what an afternoon tea should be! The view was stunning. Bravo.
